Fudgy Chocolate Cake

Makes: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 15 min.
Cook Time: 30 min.
 
Ingredients:
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons heavy cream
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
 
Directions:
Preheat oven to 275˚. Butter and flour and 8 inch square baking pan. In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate chips with the milk and heavy cream over low heat. Add the butter and sugar and stir until smooth. Remove from the heat.
In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth. Whisk in the egg and vanilla. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, approx. 30 minutes.
 
Variation:
Use above recipe but spoon batter into 6 nonstick muffin cups each about 2/3's full. Cook at 275˚ for 25 min. then let cool slightly.
In a small saucepan, melt 1/2 c. chocolate chips with 1/4 c. heavy cream and 4 tbs. unsalted butter, stirring until combined. Cover each cake with the chocolate glaze and sprinkle with crushed toffee.

More Exposure!

    For many years Coldwell Banker Select Realtors has marketed our homes for sale in a variety of ways. One of the most effective marketing tools has been our exclusive Real Estate Buyer's Guide magazine. Published every 4-5 weeks, it contained ads on every one of our active listings. We distributed 30-40,000 copies of each issue.
