Recipe of the Month
Tried and True Apple Pie
Ingredients:
- Frozen Pie Crust
- 6 Large Apples
- 3/4c-1c Sugar (to desired taste)
- 2 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
Directions:
- Peel and thinly slice apples.
- Mix sugar, cinnamon, and flour together. Sprinkle mixture onto apples. Dot butter on top.
- Pour into bottom pie crust.
- Place second pie crust over filling, trim, and seal. Prick top with a fork.
- Optional: Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top pie crust.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Question: What is the MLS?
Answer: The MLS or Multiple Listing Service is a system that is monitored by a local real estate board. Here in Tulsa, the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors monitors the MLS. The MLS provides information on all home sales activity listed with a real estate associate or broker within its designated area.
Anyone can access the MLS via the Internet. Many real estate professionals offer MLS searches on their websites. Many will require you to register your name and contact information before you can search. You can search the MLS as often as desired at my MLS home search on my website without any registration information needed.

Title Defect or Cloud on Title:
- Any claim, lien, or encumbrance, which, if valid, may impair the owners title to property.
- An outstanding claim or encumbrance on property that affects marketability.
- Outstanding claim, lien, or encumbrance, that could affect title if shown to be valid.
Examples:
- Unpaid real estate taxes or
- Bill for home repairs, such as a new roof, goes unpaid and a lien is filed against the home until payment is received.
