I have had several people ask about if and when the City will begin branch pick-up in Broken Arrow subdivisions. I decided to do a little research and pass along what I found on Broken Arrow's city website

The City of Broken Arrow will be picking up the debris from the recent ice storm in what they term as a "phased approach".

Phase 1 (present to Mid-January 2008) - Citizens may drop off branches at local sites specifically designated for storm debris. Additionally, sanitation workers will be working on Wednesdays and Saturdays picking up limbs in subdivisions. Note: Branches must be cut into 4 foot lengths.

Phase II (Jan. 19th, 2008) - Volunteers from area churches will pick up branches on subdivision right-of-ways.

Phase III (Mid/Late January to Mid/Late March 2008) - Subdivision pickup will begin. One square mili at a time will be done. Signs will be posted by the City at the area entrances that are scheduled to be completed.

Phase IV ( Mid/Late March 2008 until completion) - Brush pickup done after phase III will be done on a "time available" basis. Those requesting this service will be charged as per city ordinance.
